Natural singing is my way to define, not what we “achieve” with this method, but what we “get back”. This means, to rediscover what we thought we lost. Yes, everyone was born with the ability and the inherent clarity to sing, which as everything that's natural, can be taught how to preserve, develop and finally strengthen.
In fact, there are people that fortunately, never lose it. They learn how to preserve it and how to enjoy it. They're aim is to strengthen their capability in vocal sessions, to expand their vocal range, to reach both: high and low notes, to correct potential “vocal tendencies” and mistaken concepts, pitching, etc. Something all of us want to and are able to achieve.
However, for a lot of people, their environment, external preassures, stress, or simply the loss of contact with our natures, we are pushed into a situation, without even noticing, of losing what was inherent to us since the day we were born.
My aim is to try to go step by step in that direction. To be able to see the nature within us, to bring back habits that we've always had, to let go what we had inside ourselves and to get back what we had in the beginning.
Without preassure or stress, learning how to listen to ourselves.
Sinning is not only the lifestyle for those who become professional, or a satisfaction for those who enjoy singing. It's probably one of the best therapies in the world.
The rhythm is within us the moment we exist. It's in our heartbeat, is in the swinging of our breathing. And without noticing, since we are born, we accompany them singing with our laughter, and also with our crying. “Sol Yamil”
